About LPC

L

Committed to quality design and construction, Lake Powell Construction & Development, Inc. (LPC) has more than 26 years contracting in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.

We bring to the table a vast array of talents in government and private sector contracting, having completed more than one hundred fifty projects under the SABER (Simplified Acquisition of Basic Engineering Requirements) and JOC (Job Order Contracting) method of delivery; ranging from new construction of buildings, additions and remodels, historic restorations, site work, road work, parking lots, drainage, storm drains and utility upgrades.

It is an every day occurance for the LPC Team to travel 300 miles or more to our job sites. The majority of our work is performed in such remote locations in Nothern Arizona and Southern Utah as the Grand Canyon North and South Rims, Phantom Ranch, Lake Powell, Kayenta, Pinon, Tuba City, and The White Mountains.

We have constructed everything from simple structures to a complex, state of the art, multi-million dollar performing arts center. Our track record and client references demonstrate that we know how to provide quality projects on time and under budget.

Handling multiple jobs simultaneously is a normal everyday management practice for Lake Powell Construction. We have managed multiple JOC contracts having as many as 30 or 40 open job orders at one time. They were spread out geographically from Bullfrog and Hite; to Kayenta; to Dangling Rope and Wahweap; to the North Rim and South Rim of the Grand Canyon; and even the Inner Canyon of the Grand Canyon.

Jim Arnold, President of LPC, is the Lead Construction Manager and Lead Quality Control Manager. We supplement our team with the services of experienced consultants and subcontractors who are recognized as leaders in their respective fields.
